This
White Paper offers a series of European resolutions and
proposals for action on five themes: air, food, water, waste and
energy. The aim of these proposals is to acknowledge the right of
each person to benefit from the environment, as well as their duty
to respect and protect it in a perspective of shared and sustainable
development.
The
proposed themes correspond to those outlined in the 6th European
Community environment programme - 'Environment 2010: our future,
our choice'.
The
White Paper, produced with the aid of a specially developed Internet
exhange, is the result of a cooperative effort by youths in several
European countries. It will be delivered and presented at the European
Parliament during the 2nd Congress of professionals who work in
recycling and the environment.
